Litanu

Variations: The Fleeing Serpent, Lotan, the Twisting Serpent

The personification of Chaos from Semitic Ugaritic folklore, the DRAGON Litanu (“twisted one”) was described as having seven heads; it was likely an early predecessor of LEVIATHAN. It is uncertain in the folklore if the god of storms, Baal, killed Litanu or not.
